1. Complete and submit your application form.

2. Provide documentation of manual osteopathic training from an institution that meets the World Health Organization's Benchmarks for training in Osteopathy (2010).

3. Submit proof of a minimum of Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C).

4. Copy of government issued photo identification.

5. Proof of professional insurance coverage with a minimum liability of $5 million.

6. Submit a current Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the 12 months prior to your application.

7. Disclose any criminal investigations, criminal convictions or any professional misconduct proceedings/findings against you.

8. Provide proof of current RHPA membership.

9. Pay all membership fees upon approval of application without delay. 

     The 2026 fee is $450.

1. Maintain a current Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C) certification.

2. Submit a current Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check every 3 years.

3. Complete 36 Continuing Education Hours every 3 year cycle.

4. Pay all membership fees in full and without delay. 

     The 2026 fee is $450.

5. Comply with the OCDO Code of Ethics and Scope of Practice.

6. Complete a Membership Renewal Form.
